After graduating with a bachelor’s in Medicine and bachelor’s in Surgery in 2000 from the University of Pretoria in South Africa, Dr Ethan Oost worked as a general practitioner in rural South Africa and the United Kingdom. During this time, he spent four years working as a surgical trainee before relocating to Australia in 2007.

Settling in Perth, he completed his post-graduate training in anatomical pathology in 2015. Dr Ethan Oost joined QML Pathology in late 2015, working histopathology and cytopathology at the Buderim laboratory on the Sunshine Coast. He has maintained a broad interest in general pathology and cytopathology.
